How do I update my WordPress theme?

Keeping your StreamWeasels theme up-to-date is easy and basically automatic.

Adding your License Key

The first step to setting up automatic updates for your theme is adding your license key. You should have received your license key via email when you made your purchase on the StreamWeasels store. Failing that, you can login to the My Account section of the StreamWeasels store to view your past order and your license keys.

If you purchased a Basic or Silver package, your license key is only valid against a single website (which will be listed on the License Keys page of the StreamWeasels store).

If you have changed website URL you can request that we update your license key via our contact form.

Once you have your license key, you need to enter it into the License Key field in your theme.

Broadcast PRO

For Broadcast PRO, navigate to Appearance -> Customize -> License Key in the main navigation on the left. Enter your license key and hit save.

Ultima Gaming

For Ultima Gaming, navigate to Ultima Settings -> License Key in the main navigation on the left. Enter your license key and hit save.

Check for updates

You’re now good to go. Your WordPress installation will check periodically for updates and alert you when an update is available. You can manually check the status of your Theme Updates by navigating to Dashboard -> Updates in the main navigation on the left.

You can manually trigger an update check by clicking Check Again, and if an update is available you can manually install it by selecting your theme and selecting Update Theme.
